IN our current times communication seems to be discouraged1 how ironic, with all the various forms of communication we have ( i-e, cell phone, cable satellite tv, fax, telephone, isdn lines, computers, etc.) we talk but often don't really say any thing! we talk around a subject or each other! we play verbal games. we do not always say what we mean! when we want to complain, gripe, or snap on some one the words flow then! sadly negative words! when i have to call a customer service department to complain about a problem i have with a product, or service, etc, i make a mental and spiritual note, the person on the other end otthe phone or computer is a human being also! he or she is just doing there job! the problem i am having is not their fault! i try to be positive and use positive words, goof \d morning, or good afternoon, ask them how they are. get to my point why i am communicating\g to the, but not be angry ( rat nasty!) nor yell, nor be condescend to them.
in my relationships daily with people ( esp women, ladies ) i try to do this! as a believer ( in god , Christ, the holy spirit and the bible aka a Christian) i each day pray mediate, read my word in the morning and evening ( or often if i can) ask god how o approach a situation, or person. what positive words to say! to be sincere, get my point across. to listen really listen to what the other person says. how they truly feel! where i live ,my condo building ( i will try to sell and move soon) communication, positive words, attitude , and spirit is discouraged here! threats harassment, prejudice, anger, revenge, vulgar words, dirty looks etc!, are the norm g\here! sadly we see thus daily in our lives!
i have become quite fond of a dear lady ( a neighbor!) she is one of the few who positively communicate here1 she has touched my heart i feel.........
a child who is constantly told he or she is dumb!, stupid! worthless! should have been aborted, etc! will often go through life scarred with the effect those words had! a woman told she is a whore, slut! ugly! worthless, silly! stupid! can be crushed and hindered spiritually and emotionally by these negative words! we all at times say or do things we regret. let us be careful we say! how we say it! where we say it ! to who,m we say it1 don't you cringe when a wife or husband cuts down or curses out their spouse, or child in public?!
my parents often used powerful positive words to encourage us! as a visually disabled person many in the ma\medical community used negative words and labels regarding and to me! thank god for positive loving parents, family and friends that helped me not be destroyed by that! nor the racial slurs! please communicate! before it is too late! what is unsaid often should be! it,s better than thinking t\years later, if i would have asked for the raise! if i would have told JENNIFER I LOVED HER ( WELL I DID THAT!), NOT TO REGRET WHAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN!
