We used to have a management company ( the lady tat managed us ) they ( esp the manager) refunded learn the Internet, to have an e mail address, etc. They feared technology1 she once said ( I AM NOT A COMPUTER PERSON! I REFUSE TO LEARN ABOUT THEM1 I HATE TECHNOLOGY AND COMPUTERS!) . I HAVE A SISTER AND OTHERS I KNOW THAT FEEL THAT WAY! how sad and unrealistic1technology and the web, Internet are growing by the second and here to stay1
I was told a story of how my late great grand father on my mommas side of the family at first hated phonographs ( wind up record players way back in the 20's this was!) he once heard a song called THAT THANG IS WET AND TIGHT LIKE that
my god! he decided all record players were works of the devil!
well one day on their ( he grandma and the family there were born and lived in Mississippi1 OK?)way back home from church, grandpa heard a wonderful gospel song being sung!well he drove the big Buick till they found where the singing was coming from! it turned out to be a phonograph playing a gospel song1 ( remember, no cell phones, no pdf's the world was a very different place!)well then grandma, my my and 2 uncles were allowed to buy a record player and records. grand dad discovered technology is not all bad, it is what people choose to do with it!
all businesses, even condominiums, apartment buildings ( an individual building, group or the block!) i feel all need web sites and e mail for communication. any place where large sums of money( apartment rent, condo assessments, special assessments) seems to me to in any ways be a business.
this is 2008 my friends1 lets be realistic now! lets be as technical as we need to be to benefit others and our selves! god bless1 10,04? lol! all right . the commander is clear1 for now1
