Seniors and volunerable people in my town, your town , every where.

With much thought and prayer I sent this e mail to many people I feel care and need to have this brought to their attention. I blog this SLIGHTLY CHANGED FOR SECURITY , PRIVACY AND TO MAKE IT BLOG WORTHY. I hope you all learn from it. pass it on. take action.





I feel this is something we all need to remember . Hopefully we all realize this.

I on several occasions this week heard some OF OUR FINE SENIOR CITIZENS, AND A FEW YOUNGER P W D;S ( people with disabilities, aka handicapable, NOT ILL FORMED!, NOT DEFORMED, NOT FREAKS OF NATURE, NOT HANDICAPPED! ( I HATE THOSE WORDS SO NEGATIVE AND PREJUDICE I FEEL! 0 citizens)Speak of our great town, fine people and services and how many here do care. I also heard these same people speak of how not every one here or moving here is like this nor feels the way they do. how our times have and are changing. Many expressed concern if there was ever a tragedy , disaster, etc, ( THAT CAUSED THE PHONE, CELL PHONE, INTERNET TO NOT FUNCTION) they expressed concern about possibly being alone for a time before some one could get the them to help them. SOME OUT RIGHT SAID They know some caring people on their block , HOWEVER MOST EVEN in their apartment or condo building DID NOT GIVE A ****D ABOUT ANY ONE BUT THEM SELVES.They wondered what were they supposed to do or how to react if such crisis were to occur! I heard a lady really deeply express this today! I have a disability but I can reasonably handle my self in a tough situation, I WE LIVED IN SOME ROUGH AREA IN CHICAGO FOR YEARS! I do have SOME!,good neighbors in this place ( I-E A LADY CAN I SAY A DOLL! )where I dwell and, A few more that STEP UP DURING A CRISIS.

WE WOULD NOT WANT ANY ONE DURING A CRISIS, UN EXPECTED SITUATION TO PANIC, SNAP GO BERSERKK POSSIBLY CAUSING HARM TO THEM SELVES AND OR OTHERS. KNOWING WHAT TO DO CAN KEEP PEOPLE FROM PAN ICING I FEEL. not knowing what to do can cause us harm, GET PEOPLE TENSE, NERVOUS, GOING TOTALLY OFF IN A CRISIS!

I tried to reassure her, comfort her, Seeing the situation in California, remembering 911 just deeply gets to many people still , this DEAR DOLL A SENIOR IS IN A WHEEL CHAIR , ETC so more vulnerable, what I am saying lets a m a p at several times during a year re assure these people that may be more vulnerable in a crisis, disaster, etc, what to do, when, where and how to do it! these are so uncertain times WORLD WIDE WE ARE IN AS WE ALL KNOW! that is all. than you all for taking the time out of your busy day to read this communique.
